Dr. Burle is President of W. L. Burle Engineers, P.A. (BURLE). Dr. Burle has over thirty-five years of experience with Civil/Environmental/Geotechnical Engineering related projects. His duties include design and management responsibilities for BURLE’s environmental and geotechnical engineering projects.
Mr. Cannatella has 5 years of experience in the construction industry providing project layout, project planning, project management and construction quality control/quality assurance, and 30 years of experience conducting roadway designs, engineering storm water systems, roadway layout, site design, constructability analysis, topographic surveys, property surveys, construction management and structural design.
Mr. Martinek has over 22 years of experience in Civil Engineering related projects. Mr. Martinek has provided consulting services on all type of Civil Engineering related projects including site development, water distribution, wastewater treatment, surveying, sanitary sewer collection systems, pavement design, and storm water management. His responsibilities have included development/administration/training/supervision/monitoring of construction for numerous types of civil engineering projects, including water and wastewater treatment, environmental permitting, infrastructure improvements, roadway construction, site drainage, and environmental engineering. Mr. Martinek is also a licensed surveyor and has been the project manager for ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, boundary surveys, site surveys, and topographic surveying projects.
Mr. Santucci joined BURLE in January 2004 and is currently Treasurer of the firm. Based in BURLE’s Ridgeland office location, Jay serves as both the office manager and as one of the company’s Registered Professional Geologists (RPG). In his role as Senior RPG, Jay is responsible for the management of BURLE’s environmental services. His project experience through serving clients in both the public and private sectors includes Underground Storage Tank Assessment and Remediation projects governed under the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality; Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments for Commercial Properties, Groundwater Studies, and Brownfield Assessments. As project manager, Jay coordinates with other professionals within the firm as well as oversees the daily functions of several support staff members, including environmental technicians and drill rig crews.
Mr. Cannatella serves as a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in BURLE's home office. He has over 12 years of surveying experience and is licensed in the states of Mississippi and Arkansas. Mr. Cannatella is an active member of the Mississippi Association of Professional Surveyors and the Arkansas Society of Professional Surveyors.
In addition to being a professional surveyor, Mr. Cannatella also holds the following certifications: 40-hour OSHA HAZ-MAT, ACI Concrete technician, and nuclear density technician.
